Displays properties for imported plates. An imported plate is used for importing third-party objects into the application.
The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.
Approval State
Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.
Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.
You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.
Area
Specifies the cross-section area for the object. This property is read-only. To change this value, edit the object properties in Catalog or in the corresponding workbook.
Base is Molded Side
Indicates whether the base side of the plate part is at the same location as the corresponding molded or definition surface. This property is used by drawings.
Block Name
Specifies the name of the block to which the Tribon imported objects (imported plate, imported stiffener, and imported generic part) belong.
Created by
Specifies the name of the person who created the object.
Curved
Specifies whether the plate is curved.
Date Created
Specifies the creation date of the object.
Date Last Modified
Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.
Dry Center of Gravity
Specifies the location of the dry center-of-gravity for the object.
Generated from Bracket
Indicates whether the software generated the part from a bracket.
Generated from Built Up
Indicates whether the software generated the object from a built up part.
Generated from Flanged Bracket
Indicates whether the software generated the part from a flanged bracket.
Generated from System
Indicates whether the software generated the object from a system object.
Hyperlink
Specifies the URL or local file path associated with the object. Click the hyperlink to open the page or object in your default browser. Point to the hyperlink to display the URL or path as a tooltip.
Description
Specifies the descriptive text associated with the hyperlink.
URL
Specifies the web address or local file name associated with the hyperlink. The URL must include the protocol, such as http: or https:, as well as the domain name. For example, https://hexagonppm.com/.
Identifier
Specifies a unique string of characters that identify the source XML tag from which the object was read.
Last Modified by
Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.
Material Side
Specifies the side of the plate to which the material is applied.
Name
Specifies the name of the selected object. If the name is too long to entirely display in the box, point to the box to display the complete name as a tool tip. If the name is not defined by a rule, User Defined displays. If this name is generated by a naming rule, Naming Rule displays. If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.
Naming Category
Specifies the naming category. The naming rule uses the category in naming the profile part that is a child to the profile system.
Offset
Specifies the offset value for the landing curve from the base curve.
Panel Name
Specifies the panel name under which the Tribon imported objects (imported plate part, imported stiffener, and imported generic part) belong.
Panel Type
Specifies the type of panel under which the imported Tribon objects (imported plate, imported stiffener, and imported generic par) belong.
Parent System
Displays the parent system for the object.
Plate Length
Specifies the length dimension for the object.
Plate Width
Specifies the width dimension for the object.
Plate Tightness
Specifies the water tightness of the plate part. The list is defined by the StructPlateTightness codelist.
Plate Type
Specifies the type of the plate part. The list is defined by the StructPlateType codelist.
Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the imported plate.
