Displays properties for belt parts. A belt is the heart of a conveyor system and is used to move materials from point to point.
The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.
Angle of Repose
Specifies the angle of repose for the conveyed material.
Approval State
Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.
Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.
You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.
Belt Future Speed
Specifies the future speed of the belt.
Belt Head Pulley T1
Specifies the tension of the belt at the tight side of the head pulley.
Belt Head Pulley T2
Specifies the tension of the belt at the slack side of the head pulley.
Belt Head Pulley TE
Specifies the effective tension of the belt at the head pulley.
Belt Lift
Specifies the lift distance associated with the belt.
Belt Rated Mass
Specifies the rated mass of the conveyor belt.
Belt Speed
Specifies the speed of the belt.
Belt Tail Pulley T1
Specifies the tension of the belt at the tight side of the tail pulley.
Belt Tail Pulley T2
Specifies the tension of the belt at the slack side of the tail pulley.
Belt Tail Pulley TE
Specifies the effective tension of the belt at the tail pulley.
Belt Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the conveyor belt. You can change the default value.
Belt Width
Specifies the width of the conveyor belt. You can change the default value.
Bottom Cover Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the bottom cover of the belt.
Cleaning Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for cleaning the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Cleaning Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Conveyed Material
Specifies the material conveyed on the belt.
Created by
Specifies the name of the person who created the object.
Date Created
Specifies the creation date of the object.
Date Last Modified
Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.
Design Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for designing the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Design Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Dry Center of Gravity
Specifies the location of the dry center-of-gravity for the object.
Fabrication Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for fabricating the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Fabrication Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Horizontal Center
Specifies the distance between the centers of the head pulley and the tail pulley.
Hyperlink
Specifies the URL or local file path associated with the object. Click the hyperlink to open the page or object in your default browser. Point to the hyperlink to display the URL or path as a tooltip.
Description
Specifies the descriptive text associated with the hyperlink.
URL
Specifies the web address or local file name associated with the hyperlink. The URL must include the protocol, such as http: or https:, as well as the domain name. For example, https://hexagonppm.com/.
Installation Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for installing the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Installation Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Installed Capacity
Specifies the installed capacity of the belt.
Last Modified by
Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.
Material Bulk Density
Specifies the bulk density of the conveyed material.
Max Future Capacity
Specifies the maximum future capacity of the belt.
Moisture Content
Specifies the moisture content of the conveyed material.
Name
Specifies the name of the selected object. If the name is too long to entirely display in the box, point to the box to display the complete name as a tool tip. If the name is not defined by a rule, User Defined displays. If this name is generated by a naming rule, Naming Rule displays. If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.
Painting Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for painting the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Painting Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Parent System
Specifies the parent system for the object. Recently used systems that are appropriate to assign as the parent system for this object display in the list along with the Select from Workspace and Select from Model options. The most recently used system displays at the top.
The parent system of the object must have an Approval Status of Working before you can change the Parent System value. If the Approval Status of the parent system is not set to Working, this value is read-only.
Select Interactively
Turns on or off the interactive selection. When this option is on, you can select the parent object in a graphic view or any of the explorers.
Select from Workspace
Displays the Select Parent System Dialog with the Workspace tab open. The workspace is the subset of the active model database you specified when you started your design session. Navigate the hierarchy to select the parent system, and then click OK.
Select from Model
Displays the Select Parent System Dialog with the Model tab open. The model is all of the objects in the active model database, including those that are not part of your workspace. Navigate the hierarchy to select the parent system, and then click OK.
Required Capacity
Specifies the required capacity of the belt.
Requisition Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for ordering the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Requisition Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Supply Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for delivering the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Supply Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Surcharge Angle
Specifies the surcharge angle of the conveyed material.
Surface Area
Specifies the surface area value of the volume.
Testing Responsibility
Specifies the party responsible for testing on the object. To change the options on the list, edit the Testing Responsibility select list in Catalog.
Top Cover Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the top cover of the belt.
Total Length
Specifies the total length of the belt.
Trough Angle
Specifies the troughing angle of the belt path on the carry side. This troughing holds the material.
Volume
Specifies the volume of the compartment or zone.
Wet Center of Gravity
Specifies the location of the wet center-of-gravity for the object.
