An end cut is a combination of a web cut and a flange cut, and is placed when profiles are detailed. The end cut type is defined and modified as part of the assembly connection.
The following types of end cuts are delivered:
Clip
Places a welded web cut and flange cut.
Welded
Places a welded web cut. The flange cut may be welded or free.
Snip
Places an end cut that is not welded, and is set back with an angled cut from the bounding object of the profile.
Cutback
Places an end cut that is not welded, and is set back with a straight cut from the bounding object of the profile.
Bracketed
When a profile is bounded to a plate or the flange of another profile, automatically places a bracket for many welded end cuts.
Brackets can be placed manually for the cutback type.
