Setting up Nesting LoopBack - Intergraph Smart 3D - Reference Data

This procedure describes setting up the full loopback between Smart 3D on the listener and the nesting system (the client).

Because the listener only processes objects in the permission group of the local site, the integrity of the GWS model is not affected.

Start the listener

1. On the listener computer, navigate to [Product Folder]\Core\Container\Bin\Assemblies\Release.

2. Double-click S3DProductionListener to start the listener.

   The Listener Running message box displays. The software updates the Smart 3D database with data from the nesting system.

   

3. Minimize the message box.

   The Listener Running icon displays in the notification tray.

4. Set the log folder in the S3DProductionListener.exe.config configuration file.

   You can set the log directory if you have Write permissions. If you do not have Write permissions, or if the value below is not set in the configuration file, the default log directory is %temp%\NestingServiceLog:
