  • Added information on the Standard Assembly Connection rules.   • The EO (To Edge and Outside) assembly connection has been replaced with EX, and the EO0001 assembly connection has been replaced with EX0001. The triangular cross-section bearing plate graphic has been updated to provide proper clearance on hypotenuse in the bearing plate assembly connection (F0007). For more information, see MbrStdAC.   • Added a new assembly connection FX (Face and Outside) under the MbrStdAC section in Standard Assembly Connection Rules. New standard web cuts and standard flange cuts for members to support the assembly connection have also been added.   • You can place physical connections between structure (plates, stiffeners, and members) and slabs. You can also place physical connections between slabs. This allows the software to apply welding information to manufacturing and drawing outputs. (P2 CP:176214)

  • You can create slots when a standard member is penetrated by another standard member. This allows the software to resolve interferences without splitting objects into two parts. (P2 CP:252126)

  • Split none frame connection is supported as input for the assembly connection. (P2 CP: 264268)

  • You can include a bearing plate when a member is bound to a flat surface. This eliminates having to manually place the bearing plate and use the generic assembly connection to bound the member by the plate. (P2 CP:259703)

  • The software provides at least one valid standard assembly connection for each bounding condition. (P2 CP:266151)

  • Added the MbrAxisByFCAndEdge and MbrAxisByEdgeAndEdge sections. (P3 CP:270727)
