Select an existing Common part manager in the Workspace Explorer to modify the common part definition. The Create Common Part Managers Ribbon displays the Common Part Definition box.

In the Common Part Definition box, click More...to modify the common part definition. The software displays a message box stating: Changing Common Part Definition will make the Common Part Manager out of date, click Yes to continue.

Click Yes.

Select the new definition from the Catalog Browser, and click OK to modify the common part definition and common part manager. All the related groups are marked out of date.
You can update the common part manager from the Common Part Explorer.
