Click Route Pipe Command on the vertical toolbar.

Select a nozzle or a component end feature.

Click Properties on the Route Pipe ribbon to display the Route Pipe Settings Dialog.

On the Defaults tab, select True or False for the Use Purchase Length property.

If you select True, the software locks the pipe length between the MPL and the specified purchase length.

Click OK.

Select a value from the Straight Option list on the Route Pipe ribbon. For example, select 750 mm.
The software locks the pipe length between MPL and the length specified in the Straight Option.

Continue routing.
The software places straight features of specified purchase length, and splits.

If you select False, the software does not lock the pipe length to the specified purchase length.

Click OK.

Select a value from the Straight Option list on the Route Pipe ribbon. For example, select 750 mm.
The software places a pipe of length specified in the Straight Option.

In the Length box, enter a value for the length of the pipe run, and press ENTER. For example, enter 2400 mm.
The software locks the length of the pipe run.

Click on the graphic view to commit routing the pipe run.
The software places a pipe run of specified length, and inserts splits. If the specified length exceeds the purchase length defined in the specification, the software places pipes equal to the defined purchase length and a pipe equal to the excess length.
You can delete the extra piece of pipe. Select the extra pipe, and press DEL. The software deletes the extra pipe but the split remains. Select the associated split and then delete it.
