  1. Right-click a drawing in the Detail View and select Switch Border to open the Switch Border Dialog.

  2. If necessary, clear the Show Snapins and Sheets checkbox.

  3. Select the Filter Borders to Switch browse button browse_rulemanager_BUTTON to open the Select Borders to Switch Dialog.

  4. Choose one or more borders (or select <ALL>), and then select OK to return to the Switch Border Dialog. The borders you select display in rows.

  5. Select an existing border, and then select a border from the New Border list for the active row.

    SHARED Tip You can quickly apply a new border to multiple rows. Use CTRL + click to select multiple rows and select a new border as shown below.

  6. Select Run.

Show Snapins and Sheets

Select Show Snapins and Sheets to display the drawing hierarchy, which reflects the various relationships for the design objects. You can then switch borders at the component or sheet level.
