In this workflow, at least one edge has control points in more than one plane.

  1. Create grids on the needed planes and control points at the grid intersections.

Create control points at grid intersections

For this example, control points for the top edges are on planes 1 and 2. Control points for the bottom edges are on planes 3 and 4:

  2. Click Create Chute Command on the vertical toolbar

  3. Click Properties , and define the required plate properties. Click OK.

  4. For Select Top Vertices , select the control points that define the top opening on planes 1 and 2.

Select the control points in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction, using the same direction for both the top and bottom openings.

  5. Click Select Bottom Vertices .

  6. Select the control points that define the top opening on planes 3 and 4.

  7. Click Finish.

The software creates the chute as a set of connected plate systems.
