In the isometric below, the pipeline contains a long piece of pipe and a large number of components. Because the True Scale option is turned on, Isogen attempts to draw the straight pipes roughly proportional to their lengths. The resulting output is crowded and difficult to read.

Right-click the isometric in the Detail View, and click Option Override to open the Option Override dialog.

Click Add to open the Select Options dialog.

Type True Scale in the Search box, and select Drawing.Controls.True Scale in the Property list.

Click Add, and then click Done.

Use the Value list to set True Scale to False.

Click Add again, and type Auto Drawing Split in the Search box.

Select Drawing.Controls.AutoDrawingSplit in the Property list.

Click Add, and then click Done.

Use the Value list to set the option to True.

Click OK to return to the Detail View.

Update the isometric, and view the results. The output is much easier to read.
