Attempts to adjust the length of sections of pipe to be proportional to their actual physical length. Select the check box to use true scaling of isometrics (proportional pipe lengths).

Scaling pipe lengths is a secondary consideration to the overall readability of the drawing. As such, pipes are not guaranteed to be precisely "true scale" but only as much as possible to support the overall comprehension of the piping layout.

Some layouts lead to bad representations when you use true scaling. In these instances, we recommend that you turn off True Scale to preserve the full integrity of the isometric drawing output.
