Smart 3D uses the Intergraph Batch Services (06.01.12.00 or later) application to help you run large, time-consuming operations on a separate computer or during off hours, leaving your workstations available for other tasks. Due to the intensive nature of batch operations, using one or more computers dedicated as batch computers is recommended.
You can install both batch processing methods on any computer on which the Smart 3D client software has been installed. You must also install the Project Management and Server Connectivity features on your batch computers. Intergraph Batch Services is delivered on separate media from Smart 3D and does not require a serial number.
