These properties specify the rectangular block properties for the two sides of the clevis. The default length is from the pin centerline to the inside face of the end nut shape. While the length can be extended by key-in values for the two overlength properties, there is no way to taper or angle the blocks. The drawings are shown with the round ends, but based on the needs of the side plates used as either side blocks or round ends and side blocks.
IJUAhsWidth3::Width3
Specifies the width of the side blocks. If this value is set to zero or to a negative, then the side blocks are not drawn.
JUAhsThickness3::Thickness3
Specifies the thickness of the side blocks. If this value is set to zero, then the software uses the value defined for Thickness2. If this value is set to a negative, then the side blocks are not drawn. If both Thickness2 and Thickness3 values are set to zero, then the side blocks are not drawn and a warning is displayed.
IJUAhsGap3::Gap3
Specifies the gap between the rectangular side blocks. If this value is set to zero, then the software uses the Gap2 value. If Gap2 is set to zero, then zero is used.
.
IJUAhsOverLength1::OverLength1
Specifies the amount by which the side blocks are to extend beyond the inside face of the end nut shape.
IJUAhsOverLength2::OverLength2
Specifies the amount by which the side blocks are to extend beyond the bolt/pin centerline. Over length values are used when there is no need for a round end shape, resulting in the rectangular side blocks being extended to hold the bolt/pin. This value can be set to a positive or a negative. If a positive value is used, no round ends are shown.
