  1. Click Place Radial Grids command on the vertical toolbar.

  2. In the CS box, select the coordinate system to which the radial grid planes belong.

  3. In the Axis box, select R to indicate that you are placing radial planes.

  4. In the Reference box, select the reference object from which to place the first plane.

  5. In the Copies box, type the number of copies to place.

  6. In the Offset box, type the offset, in degrees, between the grid planes.

Radial planes are placed across the entire radial cylinder. Therefore, you cannot place a plane that is equal to or greater than 180-degrees (the 0-degree plane is the 180-degree plane, the 45-degree plane is the 135-degree plane, and so forth). Be careful when you specify the offset and number of copies values that you do not define a plane past the 180-degree point.
