Set up the Project and Data - Intergraph Smart 3D - Administration & Configuration

Before you export your data, use tools to run the MetaData Adapter to synchronize your PDS project data with the PDS3DToolMapSchema.xml. When this is completed, you have other users export or publish data for the same project.

Before You Begin

Copy the files listed below from the C:\WIN32APP\INGR\PDSHELL\config folder to the project folder containing the model data for export.

• PDSComponent.xml

• PDS3DToolMapSchema.xml

• SPFConfiguration.xls - three versions of the spreadsheet file are delivered with PD_Shell.

  • SPFConfiguration.xls – English Units Projects

  • mixSPFConfiguration.xls – Mixed Units (Metric Dimensions and English NPD) Projects

  • mSPFConfiguration.xls – Metric Units Projects

    If you use either the mSPFConfiguration.xls file or the mixSPFConfiguration.xls file, you must rename the copied file to 'SPFConfiguration.xls'.

Workflow

1. Run the Material Data & SmartPlant Publisher

2. Run the Metadata Adapter.

3. Update the Tool Schema File.

4. Apply the Instruction File.
