Reposition an existing equipment nozzle - Intergraph Smart 3D - Help

Changing the piping layout or the pipeline geometry around SIO equipment can sometimes require you to reposition an existing equipment nozzle.

1. Use Place Designed Equipment Command to place a native Smart 3D designed equipment object.

2. Recreate the nozzle that needs to be re-positioned.

3. Demolish the existing SIO nozzle.

4. Add the new Smart 3D nozzle to the designed equipment object.

Demolishing SIOs can create inconsistencies in your design. However, you can recover the data and reconcile the inconsistencies by immediately clicking Undo .
