The current Operation Status for at least one of the available As-Built projects in the model must be Active. Otherwise, the software displays a message that no active projects are present and cancels the command. An Active status indicates that the change action in SDx is allocated to the As-Built project scope in Smart 3D and is available for more detailed design and modeling work. See Project Operations Command.

Select Project

Lists all the active primary As-Built projects present in the model. Choose a project from the list.

Start

Verifies that the following prerequisites exist:

  • You have Full Access permissions to the selected As-Built project.

  • All related project data is synchronized to SDx.

  • The project data contains no dangling relationships in the SDx database.

If a verification check fails, a red X displays next to the prerequisite, and the View Log button becomes available.

If the verification checks are successful, the dialog displays a green check mark next to each prerequisite. The Finish button also displays.

If the software encounters any warnings during processing (To Do List records, generic piping components, or objects in the project that are synchronized to SDx but have warnings), a message displays in the dialog and is written to the log file.

View Log

Opens your default text editor and displays a log file that lists the results of each verification check. By default, the software saves the log file as [Date]_SetDesignReviewStatus.log in the the %temp%/ProjectOperations folder on the local machine.

Reviewing these results can help you determine the cause for any failures that occurred during processing. The section of the log file shown below indicates that one object has not been synchronized to SDx and three objects have dangling relationships, which cause the verification check to fail.

Finish

Prompts you to log on to SDx. The system authenticates that the logon has Design Lead role assigned and verifies that the current change action status in SDx is Active. If authentication and verification are successful, the change action status in SDx is set to Design Review. In Smart 3D, the Operation Status for the As-Built project also displays as Design Review and the Status (for Approval State) is set to In Review.

When the command completes successfully, a message like the following displays in the dialog.

Cancel

Closes the dialog without changing the change action status in SDx.
