Standard View

Standard View changes the view orientation to one of the following standard views: Iso Top Left, Iso Top Right, Iso Bottom Left, Iso Bottom Right, Plan, Look North, Look South, Look East, Look West. For more information, see Change the view orientation.

3 - Tree View

The tree view is divided into three tabs:

  • File Set Tab displays a hierarchical list of the files that make up the current fileset, along with information about how those files are grouped. As in Windows Explorer, you navigate through the nodes in the tree view tab by clicking the Expand Node or SPIso ICON Collapse Node icons. When you select a file in the tree view, the software highlights the corresponding file in the Content view.

  • Results Tab provides access to post-processing results related to the Data Stripper and the System Builder. For more information, read Results Data.

  • Errors Tab displays a list of files that the software is unable to read properly along with details explaining possible reasons. For more information, read View error information.

4 - Content View

The display in the Content view depends upon the active tab in the tree view.

  • When the File Set tab is active, the Content view displays a 3D graphical representation the current fileset. You can view the entire fileset, or just a portion of interest. You can also view the fileset as a rendered or symbolic representation.

  • When the Results tab is active, the Content view displays the selected file. The .idf, .pcf, and .pod files generated by the current tools are displayed in 3D.

  • When the Errors tab is active, the Content view displays a list of any import errors that occurred during processing.

5 - Status Bar

Displays summary information about the piping files that are currently open. In the example, the status bar provides information about the isometric directory (C:\SampleIsoDir), the project name (SPIso-Piping), and the current view representation of the piping data (Rendered). Double-clicking the current view representation in the status bar causes the view representation in the Content view to switch between Rendered and Symbolic.
