I-Tools Version
7.2

The document that I-Tools uses is called a fileset. The software uses the fileset to define the piping data files that are available to process and to determine how those files are to be grouped together. Because I-Tools is a project-based application, the filesets that it uses are tied to I-Configure projects. Before you create a new fileset, you must log in to an I-Configure project. Afterwards, the software remembers the project, so you do not need to log in again.

Projects provide a location in which to store a variety of data and allow you define the specific configuration of attributes that I-Tools uses for grouping data files.

User preferences allow you to control how the software handles input files that contain more than one pipeline. You can also define a connection tolerance that controls the maximum allowed distance between components that are supposed to be connected. You can define all of these user preferences using the Options dialog box.
