To simplify your model display, you can select one or more objects in the main view and hide them. To display hidden objects, you can use commands available in the shortcut menu. Any Hide and Show operations you perform are in effect only in the current work session and not persisted to the next time you open the model.

Hide

  1. Select an object in the main view. Press CTRL to select multiple objects.

  2. Tap Hide .

You might want to keep a record of the hidden objects in the current session.

  3. Repeat for all objects to hide.

The software hides the objects throughout the current work session.

Show

Intergraph FreeView provides the following commands in the shortcut menu to display hidden objects:

  • Show Last Hidden Object - Shows the previously-hidden objects in the reverse order they were hidden. If multiple objects were selected during Hide, then select this command to show the set of objects hidden together.

  • Show All Hidden Objects - Shows all previously-hidden objects.

When you have not hidden any objects, these commands are not available in the shortcut menu.

  • Press and hold to open the shortcut menu, and select either Show Last Hidden Object or Show All Hidden Objects.

    The software displays the objects.
