On the Check Out dialog box, select the drawing that you want to check out from the Plant hierarchy.

If you already have a fetched version of the drawing in your project and you want to replace it with the version that you check out, select the Replace existing P&ID option.
If you do not replace the existing P&ID, your previously fetched version remains,
but its status changes to Checked-out.

(Optional) Enter comments in the Comments area.

Click OK. If you want to review notes about this operation after it is completed, click View Log on the Checking Out Drawings dialog box.
If you discover that you did not want or need to check out this drawing, you can
undo the checkout. For more information, see Undo a Drawing Checkout.
