Integrity supports user concurrency, which allows multiple users to access information and perform tasks at the same time. To provide this support, Integrity needs to manage when two or more users attempt to edit the same item. In this case, Integrity displays an indication that another user is trying to edit an item. Integrity also identifies the most up-to-date item to be edited, so information is not overwritten. This feature is enabled for punch lists, workflow cases, baseline deviations, and custom properties.

The Integrity web interface provides several indicators related to concurrent users:

If a concurrency state is active, you can save only when you have a lock. If someone else saves an object while you are viewing that object, you need to refresh the object before you can get a lock.
