The FTPDownload.exe utility downloads the latest version of the specified asset model using the credentials and location information defined with the FTPLoadConfigTool.exe configuration utility run on the same computer. The specified asset model file should be stored in the same folder as the configuration and download utilities. The FTPDownload.exe utility can also perform a second transfer/move to put the updated asset model where the Cyber Integrity server can import and use it. You should use Windows Task Scheduler to schedule the FTPDownload.exe utility to run each day and download the latest Vulnerability Management asset model.

To schedule downloading the latest vulnerability management asset model:

  1. On the computer where you ran the FTPLoadConfigTool.exe configuration utility and you will download the latest asset model, click Windows Start, type Task, and then click Task Scheduler to open Windows Task Scheduler.

  2. Schedule the FTPDownload.exe utility, which you copied to the computer, to run each day and download the latest Vulnerability Management asset model by completing the following steps (some options may be slightly different based on the version of Windows Task Scheduler you are using):

    2. Type a Name for the task and set the various other settings you want to use.

    3. On the General tab, select Run whether user is logged on or not, Do not store password, Run with highest privileges, and Hidden.

    4. On the Triggers tab, click New.

    6. On the Actions tab, click New.
