There are various reasons few jobs as considered as optional in the P6 Connector configuration, Following are few reasons:

Some P6 subject areas are not required in most EcoSys implementations.
For instance, many clients do not need the P6 EPS in EcoSys.

There might be more than one subject area that could potentially be appropriate.
For instance, P6 Resources are mapped to EcoSys Resource by default. However, depending on requirements, it could be a better option to import P6 Resources as EcoSys Transaction Categories.

It is not possible to predict what P6 Activity Codes or Project Codes that a client will need to import.

All exports of EcoSys data to P6 are considered optional.
