Once you create the objects you need, you can use Configuration Manager to add those objects to the hierarchy. You can also add the data owners for each asset type to your asset hierarchy. A data owner can include one or more assets. For example, each Recon data owner can include many Windows computers.

To add an object to the asset hierarchy:

  1. Open Configuration Manager on the Integrity server. To open Configuration Manager, run the following file:

    InstallPath\DataCollector\ConfigurationManager.exe

  2. Select CyberIntegrity in the list at the top left.

  3. Check Synchronize with right pane at the bottom of the empty left pane.

  4. Click the Create and Edit Objects tab.

  5. Click the Object List tab.

  6. If you want to add an object created by an asset model, such as the data owner, complete the following steps:

    1. In the right pane, check Asset model.

    2. In the Asset field, select the asset model that created the object.

    3. In the Object Type field, select the type of object, such as DataOwner.

  7. If you want to add an object you created, complete the following steps:

    1. In the Asset field, click CyberIntegrity.

    2. In the Object Type field, select the type of object to add.

  8. On the Object List tab, the Objects list shows all objects of the selected type.

  9. Drag the objects from the list to the desired nodes in the left pane.
