When mapping items using rule sets, some times all the items might not get mapped because they don't fit the mapping criteria. In such cases, you can map each item manually. Similarly, if the criteria resulted in incorrect mappings, you can remove mappings one at a time or in bulk.
Add a mapping

On the left bar, click Smart Mapping > 5D Management .

Locate and expand the parent cost item or schedule item.

On the child item, click Options > Add mapping and select the required option.
For example, if you want to map schedule item with cost item, on the work package, you would select Options > Add mapping > Cost.

Locate and select the required item that you want to map.

In the middle panel, click Map.
The application maps the selected items and highlights them.
Remove a mapping

On the left bar, click Smart Mapping > 5D Management .

Locate and expand the parent cost item or schedule item.
The application highlights the mapped items.

On the item, click Options > Remove mapping and select the required option.
For example, if you want to remove mapping between a cost item and a model element, on the cost item, you would select Options > Remove mapping > Model.

Locate and select the required item that you want to unmap.

In the middle panel, click Unmap.
The application removes the mapping between the selected items.
Remove multiple mappings

On the left bar, click Smart Mapping > 5D Mapping .

On the Rule definition tab, select the mapping type and the rule set.

From the rule set, choose a rule and then click Analyse.
When the analysis is complete, you should see the mapped items in the Review tab.

Click the Review tab and select an item to view the Implicit mappings suggestions panel.
Depending on the mapping type, if the selected item has mapped items, the application displays them in the Implicit mapping suggestions panel.

Click Expand list and select the mapped items.
You can select the mapped items from both the Review tab and Implicit mapping suggestions panel.

In the middle panel, click Unmap.
The application removes the mappings between the selected items.
