When mapping items using rule sets, some times all the items might not get mapped because they don't fit the mapping criteria. In such cases, you can map each item manually. Similarly, if the criteria resulted in incorrect mappings, you can remove mappings one at a time or in bulk.

Use search and filter to find what you want

In large hierarchies, it can be hard to browse and locate the items that you are interested in. To help, use the Search and Filter options, alone or together.

Search for an item based on its name

Start typing the item name in the corresponding Search box. As you type, the list of items is narrowed down to those that match.

Filter the items based on what's mapped or not mapped

  1. At the top right corner, click Filter Filter-new.

  2. Choose which item type you want to filter. For example, if you want to filter the cost items, select Cost.

  3. In the Show box, select an option.

    • All shows all the items in the hierarchy. This is the default option.

    • Mapped shows only the mapped items in the hierarchy.

    • Unmapped shows all the items that are not mapped in the hierarchy.

  4. To further narrow down your search, use the Mapped to option.
