Here are some questions to help you find and fix common problems.

It is possible to use the Cost Management feature without importing a model or completing quantification set-up. However, if those steps are not completed, users cannot select a cost item and see it highlighted in the model.
-
Right now, Smart Build Insight only integrates with EcoSys.
Once the feature is set up, a user can pull the cost information into Smart Build Insight. For more information, see Get cost data into Smart Build Insight.
Have you retrieved the data yet?
After the feature is set up to work, you have to tell Smart Build Insight to get the cost data.
For help, see Get cost data into Smart Build Insight.
Did your credentials for the cost software change or expire?
Smart Build Insight remembers your credentials, and uses them to connect to the cost software.
Contact your cost software administrator for help.
What you can do in Smart Build Insight is determined by your role. Your role is specific to the project you're in, and each role's permissions are unique to that project.
This means, for example, that even if you are assigned the role of Tradesman in two projects, you might not be able to do the same things in both projects because each project might have different permissions assigned to the Tradesman role.
Contact your workspace administrator for help.
If data seems missing or wrong:
When was the last time you retrieved data?
Smart Build Insight does not automatically retrieve updated cost information.
Click Retrieve again to make sure you have the latest information.
Are the model files you need loaded?
Models can be so big that showing the whole thing can really slow down your system. To help with this, we give you a way to choose a subset of the model files to display for the project. Smart Build Insight remembers these choices.
For help checking what parts of the model you're displaying, see Choose which model files to load and Filter 3D models.
