Project communications are used to manage the transfer of information between collaborating organizations as defined in the contract. Technical queries and actions can be raised against tags, assets and other items as well as documents.
Four project communication objects are available in SDx Projects.

Transmittals for issuing documents and files to other organizations. For more information, see Transmittals model.

Technical queries for managing a query about an item with its responses through to resolution.

Actions for raising work and other actions with its responses through to resolution.

Actions are most commonly created during the QA Document Review work process.

Submittals for loading documents, files, tags, and meta data into the system and for creating the Master Document Register (MDR).
