As a customer makes changes to an object in a project, the SDxByCustomer property is set to Modified on the object and its relationships. However, in some cases, the change can also affect the parent object. For example, if a new column item is added to a column set, the column set is also considered to have been changed, so the column set SDxByCustomer property is also set to Modified.
Relationships are identified by the SDxInternalVersion property displaying the applicable configuration version when the SDxByCustomer is set to Modified. The target object on the owning end of the relationship will also have the SDxByCustomer property set to Modified.
