Document Review

  • The QA Review workflow handles multiple consolidators, using a claim option available on the consolidation step. For more information, see QA Review workflow. (CR-AM-123601)

  • The QA Append Reviewer workflow can handle a request from a consolidator to add a reviewer for a document that is in review. For more information, see Consolidate reviews and prepare to issue. (CR-AM-113743)

  • The contractor can view the consolidator review comments in the QA Review Details page. For more information, see SCLBQualityAssuranceReviewDetails client API and its delivered methods. (CR-AM-127224)

  • You can view the review completion information on the progress deliverable milestone for the given issue purposes. For more information, see Search for planned deliverables and Propagate milestone property. (CR-AM-124894, CR-AM-122753)

  • Document renditions are categorized in the QA Review page based on the document issue purpose. A relationship is created between the document rendition and the latest revision issue purpose during the rendition generation. This enhancement is useful in the loop back scenario to display the latest PDFs. For more information, see Prepare the document review to be issued. (CR-AM-135544)

  • A notification is sent to all the reviewers with review plans when a new revision of an MDR document is submitted. For more information, see Configure notifications and emails for project workflows. (CR-AM-136423)

  • A review plan item is created when a milestone exists for a specific issue purpose and a planned date has been set. For more information, see Overnight scheduler task to generate review plan items and Register for interest scheduler. (CR-AM-128391)

  • The QA Review Verification workflow is available to prevent the reviewers from getting the same document again and to keep the workflow table small. For more information, see Review delivered documents. (CR-AM-136475)

  • You can sign up for an Information Only review plan item in the Manage Review Plan page to get a document receipt notification when a document is issued or modified at a given issue purpose. For more information, see Review Plans. (CR-AM-136864, CR-AM-136866, CR-AM-117595, CR-AM-117822)

  • A consolidator can assign the review step to a user having the document receipt notification step during the review process. For more information, see Consolidate reviews and prepare to issue. (CR-AM-138612)

  • You can set up the reviewers for documents in the QA Review workflow using the SDx document matrix linked to a contract by enabling the Generate Reviews by Matrix? flag on the project. For more information, see Configure SDx document review matrix and QA Review workflow. (CR-AM-142637)

  • You can manage a review assignment rule or a document type definition from the Web Client, which makes the process of altering or creating a rule or a document type definition simpler. For more information, see Create review assignment rules. (CR-AM-135934)

  • The review plan is managed for a user who has a document receipt notification step during the reassignment of a workflow step. For more information, see Reassign work to a different user. (CR-AM-138360, CR-AM-134058)

  • The review target date is not recalculated on reassignment of workflow steps to another user. (CR-AM-139273)

  • You can include multiple submittal classifications in the overnight scheduler task. For more information, see Overnight scheduler task to generate review plan items. (CR-AM-134653)

  • The overnight scheduler task to generate review plan items is project-specific. A child task is created for each project, so that one failed task does not stop the execution of scheduler tasks for other projects. For more information, see Overnight scheduler task to generate review plan items. (CR-AM-135056)

  • In the QA Review workflow, a consolidator cannot view the markups if the reviews are in waived or draft state. (CR-AM-117558, CR-AM-116796)

  • The consolidator and the reviewer are clearly identified by a blue user icon and the word "You" after the user name in the QA Document Review Consolidation and QA Document Review pages. (CR-AM-112271, CR-AM-134884)

Project Communication Workflows

  • The Outgoing Actions workflow is available in SDx Projects for action objects created interactively. This workflow validates the actions against the documents related to them and to the ToUser and ToRole actions. For more information, see What is the work process for an outgoing action workflow?. (CR-AM-125634)

  • The Internal Actions workflow is available in SDx Projects for action objects raised within the organization or between internal organizations. You can create one or more internal actions from a tag or a document. For more information, see What is the work process for an internal action workflow?. (CR-AM-131224)

  • You can create outgoing actions and technical queries from a tag. For more information, see Configure document reviews. (CR-AM-131222, CR-AM-132761)

  • The QA Actions workflow can manage the review response rejection step so that an Action is revised and progresses to the Add content step. For more information, see QA Actions workflow. (CR-AM-134589)

  • The QA Actions workflow manages the responses for an Action and generates renditions for the responses. For more information, see QA Actions workflow. (CR-AM-128189)

  • The technical query workflow provides a single page to the initial recipient to view and edit technical queries and its responses. On rejection of the Initial review step, PDF renditions are generated for the response. For more information, see Technical Query workflow. (CR-AM-125901)

  • Rendition failures are handled through correct failure steps in all the Actions workflows. For more information, see QA Actions workflow, What is the work process for an outgoing action workflow?, and What is the work process for an internal action workflow?. (CR-AM-138301, CR-AM-138433)

  • Response management is handled through a single user interface at the prepare response and review response steps in Technical Query and Actions workflows. (CR-AM-138443, CR-AM-113975, CR-AM-115044, CR-AM-115045)

  • While preparing the content for a technical query, the user can manage the markups related to the primary and reference documents and the directly attached files in a single page. If the renditions are copied while revising a technical query, the user can manage the markup layers on the renditions.(CR-AM-130362, CR-AM-133293)

Reference Data Loading with Data Validator

  • Reference data mappings and sample CSV files to process different types of reference data, such as work packages, documents, tags, areas, units, and locations, are delivered with SDx Projects.
