  • The hotspot bubble now lists all tags related to a single graphical object in a Data Capture model or drawing. You can select the link, and click Details to view properties. For more information, see View files, drawings, and models and Configure linking to connected tags on hotspot bubbles. (CR-AM-141364)

One typical example is that users click on a routed piping item. The system now offers a choice to either select the actual piping part, the parent piperun, or the complete pipeline that the selected part ultimately belongs to. Selecting one of the offered options highlights either the single item or all items that belong to the logical group in the published 3D model or 2D drawing.

Clicking Details  opens the detail properties form of the selected item. Administrators can configure additional selectable options for items by configuring methods driven by the ViewInDocument client API. The methods must use a Graphic Objects EdgeDef to expose related graphical objects and items/tags. The Document Interface List should also be specified to restrict search on documents implementing the interface definition.

  • You can now launch URLs that point to objects in a model or drawing. For more information, see Configure launch URLs. (CR-AM-157674)

  • In the Web Client, the workflow engine has been modified to check the step priorities before assigning two parallel steps to the same recipient. For more information, see Set precedences for the workflow steps. (CR-AM-152370)

    Tell me more

Workflows now support parallel workflow steps. When the parallel steps are assigned to the same user, the user will see two to do list items (for example, receipt notification and initial review). You can also define a precedence between the parallel steps which results in showing just one step in the users to do list. The other step is terminated automatically.

With this feature, "double" to do list items can be reduced. Parallel workflow steps to the same user can be removed by defining a precedence rule between the parallel steps.

  • In the SDx document review matrix, you can now highlight a user to see where that user exists across the matrix rows. For more information, see Populate the document review matrix. (CR-AM-152927)

Sometimes projects have complex matrices with many users. This new feature is an effective method to get a quick overview of the assignments of a single user.

Only one user is highlighted at a time. Once you highlight a user, you can either select Unhighlight from the menu, or you can select another user to highlight.

  • You can now relate change requests to work packages. For more information, see Manage related information. When viewing a change request, you can show related work packages from the Actions menu. (CR-AM-156317, CR-AM-161758)

  • When you can now attach files to a change request when preparing it. For more information, see Prepare the change request. (CR-AM-159860)

  • You can now create a change request from a document's, or tag's, Actions menu. (CR-AM-159861)

  • The Append Internal Reviewer workflow is now available can handle a request from a consolidator to add a reviewer for a document that is in review. Two versions of the Append Internal Reviewer workflows are now available for use, a master workflow template (MSR) that is supplied for reference only and a copy of the workflow template (HEX) that is editable. For more information, see What happens when an approver requests additional reviewers for a document that is in review? and Configure workflows. (CR-AM-161399)

  • The Append Responder workflow is now available, which handles the request from a consolidator to add one or more responders to the current technical query workflow. Two versions of the Append Responder workflows are now available for use, a master workflow template (MSR) that is supplied for reference only and a copy of the workflow template (HEX) that is editable. For more information, see What happens when a consolidator requests additional responders? and Configure workflows. (CR-AM-161411)

  • The Web Client is now enabled to implement the synchronization of tag to stub objects. For more information, see Synchronize a tag to a functional location using the Web Client, Synchronize an asset to an equipment using the Web Client, Synchronize a tag to an AF element using the Web Client, and Synchronize a tag to a location using the Web Client. (CR-AM-144138)

  • You can now create hosts, vaults, and revision schemes in the Web Client. For more information, see Create a new host, Create a new vault, Create a new revision scheme. (CR-AM-160926)

  • You can now copy an SDx document review matrix that is created in another configuration. For more information, see Copy the document review matrix. (CR-AM-158956)

    Tell me more

Sometimes, engineers working on a project also work on another project or the next project. We've extended the normal copy to include the ability to copy the matrix to another project. This reduces the configuration of the new project, and the project is quickly available for the document reviews.

This feature helps you easily configure new projects based on earlier project matrices. You no longer need to export matrices from one SDx project to import into a new project.
