The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 44. For the latest information, see Create a dashboard.
Before Update 37, there is no box to select the dashboard type. Instead:

To create a home screen dashboard, select Home Screen.

To display the dashboard in a pop-up window rather than as its own page, select View in modal. This option is not available for home screen dashboards.
Before Update 44, you controlled the use of context panel dashboards in the Web Client using the Enable Dashboard Panel setting in the HxGN Server Manager Web Client site settings node.
