Create a change request - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Help

This functionality was modified in an update. For more information, see Create a change request (modified in an update).

1. In the Change Management feature set, select Create Change Request or Create Temporary Change Request as required.

   You can also create a change request from the Actions menu of a tag or a current signed-off document, or from a current signed-off document's View and Markup page. For more information on creating a change request from the View and Markup page, see Create a change request within a markup layer.

2. Type the required information on all tabs and select Next.

   When creating a temporary change request, select the date to revert the changes in Expiration date. The change request will enter the Revert change workflow a defined number of days before this date.

3. Attach any related files from your computer to the change request.

4. Select:

   • Prepare Change to send the change request to the Prepare Content step. This step allows you to update the change request with related documents and tags, and to mark up the changes you are requesting. For more information, see Prepare the change request.

   • Finish to create a To Do List task for the Evaluate feasibility step to be carried out. For more information, see Evaluate the change request.
