Create a data book - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Help

This functionality was modified in an update. For more information, see Create a data book (modified in an update).

1. In the Data Books feature set, select Create Data Book.

2. Select a data book type, followed by Next.

   When assigning classification to the object, you can use the Classification search bar to search and filter for the appropriate classifications based on their Name and Description.

3. Use the Item owner(s) list to specify one or more as the data book owner(s). If the owner is not assigned, the current user (who creates the data book) will be set as the data book owner by default.

   Only the data book owner(s) can update, manage, and terminate a data book. They are also the only user who can generate the consolidated PDF for a data book.

4. Complete the remaining information, and select Finish.

Update a data book

• Search for the data book, and then select Actions > Update Data Book.

Terminate a data book

• Search for the data book, and then select Actions > Terminate. Objects are successfully terminated.
