A single physical item in a facility is represented by three related objects in the database:

Tag - The physical part as designed

Model - The requisitioned item, including a model number

Asset - The physical part located in the facility, with its own serial number
In the Web Client, you can:

Create tag, asset, and model documents.
When tags are created manually or imported from another system, the software maintains
the tag's uniqueness in relation to its area.

Manage and view relationships between the tags, models, and assets and the properties of each, such as specifications, manufacturer serial number, maintenance procedures, and more. For more information, see Create and edit a relationship.
