You can add items to a pins list in your Pinboard in the following ways:

Hover over an item in a results grid, select Pin
from the shortcut menu ribbon. The item is added to the pins list selected.

Select items in the results grid, and click the Pin to
command to add the pins to a list in the 
drop-down menu.

Select the items, click Actions
> Pin to add the pins to a list in the drop-down menu.
You can add a pin to the Pinboard directly from an object's open image or drawing file:

Select Pin
on the item's hotspot bubble to add the item to a list in the drop-down menu.
You can only unpin item from a list using the Pins menu unpin action. See Pins menu shortcut icons.
