This functionality was modified in an update. For more information, see Copy user assignments within the matrix (modified in an update).

In the Workflow Management feature set, select Document matrices.

Select the matrix and select Actions > Assign Recipients.

Select
next to the source user, and select Copy Assignments.

next to the target user, and select Append Assignments. The target user is added to the corresponding cells in the matrix where the source
user is present, and highlighted.
For example, let's assume User B has review assignment for drawings of unit 100 and information only assignment for datasheets of unit 200. You can copy User B’s assignments to User A using the Copy Assignments and Append Assignments options. User A then has the same review settings as User B along with the ones that were already defined.
