In the Operations, real time and historical system, whenever tags are created, updated, or terminated in any of the Hexagon Information Management (IM) products, the HxGN SDx Connector for OSIsoft PI synchronization mechanism automatically creates, updates, and terminates the corresponding AF element in OSIsoft PI for the selected data selected by the user.
The HxGN SDx Connector for OSIsoft PI synchronizes the Tags with the Asset Framework server through OData calls. OSIsoft PI provides access to current and historical plant data that is sourced from a variety of sensors.

You must be an SDxConnectors Administrator to configure the HxGN SDx Connector for OSIsoft PI or you have to assign SDxConnectors Administrator role to your user.

If you are using IWA, you must ensure that SDx Connectors Admin and Viewer roles are assigned to your user.
