To access Address Manager:
-
In the NetWorks Utilities toolbar, select the Utilities tab.
-
Click Address Management.
-
After starting the application, a dialog box appears. It asks whether the administrative tables should be refreshed. You can also select to use the job data. By default, Address Manager displays only posted data (LTT_STATUS IS NULL). Therefore, if there were any changes since the last session, the user must refresh the data. Otherwise, this data in the administrative tables may be missing.
The following parameters in G3E_GENERALPARAMETER can be used to control how the application starts:
-
GinAddressManagerRefreshOnStart: 0 or 1. If 1, then the administrative tables are refreshed automatically. If not specified, the default value is 1.
-
GinAddressManagerAskForRefreshOnStart: 0 or 1. If 1, a dialog box with a question appears. If not specified, the default value is 1. The query overrides the GinAddressManagerRefreshOnStart parameter.
-
-
To exit Address Manager:
-
Click Exit at the top right corner of the window.
-
After changing addresses and closing the application, a dialog box appears asking whether the current job should be posted and the materialized views for addresses should be updated. For more details, see the HxGN NetWorks Utilities | Address Search document. If there are faulty objects in the current job, a corresponding message is displayed.
The following parameters in G3E_GENERALPARAMETER can be used to control how the application ends:
-
GinAddressManagerRefreshOnEnd: 0 or 1. If 1, then the current job is posted and the materialized views for addresses are updated automatically. If not specified, the default value is 1.
-
GinAddressManagerAskForRefreshOnEnd: 0 or 1. If 1, a dialog box appears asking whether to post and refresh. If not specified, the default value is 1. The query overrides the GinAddressManagerRefreshOnEnd parameter.
