To schedule QA-Tool validations to run automatically using the Windows Task Scheduler:

Start the Windows Task Scheduler application.

Click Create Basic Task.

Give the task a Name and an optional Description.

Click Next >.

Specify the schedule (timing) for the QA-Tool validation.

Click Next >.

Specify the hour for the QA-Tool validation.

Click Next >.

Select Start a program task type.

Click Next >.

Use program path <GINIUS>\GinDataValidationBatch.exe, where <GINIUS> is the location of Utilities binary files.
Optional: If necessary, store credentials in credentials vault in the Windows Registry.

Specify arguments for the QA-Tool batch tool (see Run Validation).

Assign the G/Technology program directory in Start in field, that is the directory containing the G3E.exe, usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Intergraph\GTechnology\Program\.

Save the schedule.
Keep the current user logged on. The validation will not run when the user is logged off.
Do not change the Security options of the task to Run whether user is logged on or not. If the user is not logged on when the task is executed, is terminated with the following error message in the log file: "Failed to initialize NetWorks application and open workspace. Check workspace and connection parameters."
