Mobile: Object length was different in Mobile and HxGN NetWorks Core | Designer |
Description: The object length was different between Mobile and Designer (for example, “110.7 m” in Mobile and “110.95 m” in Designer). Resolution: The issue was caused by a difference in the used algorithm. HxGN NetWorks Core | Portal and Mobile default to geodesic calculation (which takes the Earth’s curvature into account). There is a new option to switch to planar calculation. Now, the results in Designer and Mobile are the same. |
