When document storage is transitioned to IDM, the local server or file share folder will be designated as temporary storage for any files uploaded or downloaded from EAM though web services or mobile. Therefore, any file sitting in this temporary storage location for more than one hour will be deleted.
The install parameter IDMCLUP has been created to mitigate the potential for files being deleted unintentionally. This install parameter, if set to YES, will enable the cleanup of old documents files uploaded through web services or mobile. If migrating existing documents to IDM, the IDMCLUP install parameter should be set to YES only after existing documents have been successfully migrated to IDM and have also been verified as present in IDM.
If the IDMCLUP install parameter is set to NO, this will disable the cleanup of old files.
