It is strongly recommended that each server running a Couchbase node be configured with a static IP address.
It is possible to configure Couchbase to use a dynamic IP address. However, the default Couchbase installation assumes a static IP address.
If a Couchbase node is installed on a server with a dynamic IP address without changing
the default Couchbase configuration, the node will become unusable when the IP address
changes.
