  1. Open this location with a browser and save the file:

    https://<adfsserver:port>/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml

  2. Rename the file to idp.xml.

  3. Use some editor to add line breaks

  4. Delete everything from ds:Signature (the second line of the file) up to but not including <IDPSSODescriptor

  5. The first two lines of the resulting file should look like

    • <EntityDescriptor

    • <IDPSSODescriptor

  6. Be sure to save the file as plain ascii

  7. Copy idp.xml to overrides/sso/.
