This initial release of the integration of EAM and SDx is a linkage between the EAM Position and the associated SDx Tag Infomap for that Position in SDx. The Tag Infomap in SDx is used to quickly visualize all the objects related to a single object. The referenced entity, a Tag (a Position in EAM), is displayed as a central node surrounded by all the related objects such as Plants, Functional Locations, Assets, Tags, Documents, Change Requests, and Work Orders. Selection of a different node from the Tag Infomap displays that as the central node with its related objects.
The SDx Integration Configuration screen will be used to define the configuration and connection details for the integration between EAM and SDx. The user will need to additionally enable the Tag Infomap button on the EAM Positions screen.
