Source ENV : [http://] # Go to Configuration Manager | Export Screen # Select User Groups and permissions, Page Layout, Flex Business Rules, Updated Text, Include Translations # Click Export and save the file Destination : [http://] 1.Go to Configuration Manager | Import Screen 2.Click browse and select the file from step#3 3.Click Import After import is successful there are 3 issues *Issue#1 :* Issues with UDF fields : example usr_udfchar01 (on BSUSER) should be ENT. Also lookup filters are not present on any UDF (eg: usr_udfchar01). - see the export import issues.docx *Issue#2* Custom fields are not kept in same place between source and target DB. On OSOBJA (Equipment | Equipment) you will see differences in visible custom fields and positioning of custom fields between Source and Target env. In Source the custom fields block - renamed Technical data - is empty (the custom fields associated to the * class have been moved around the screen) but in Target all the fields are in the Custom Fields block. To reproduce this log on with user in both Source and Target and go to Equipment | Equipment and check the differences. *Issue#3* UDS that were in menu structure in Source are no longer in the menu structure in Target. Example ; for user group ADMF, the UDS XURCFD is visible in menu Work | Operational Management | Configuration. if you connect with same user in Target that UDS is not in the menus. |
