A user is getting an error when trying to defer a Work Order Activity. Steps to replicate: * Complete an active checklist on a WO * Enter notes against a cheklist item (note must be over 80 chars) * Flag as Follow Up * Generate Follow Up WO * The checklist notes becomes the Activity Note in the follow up WO * Tick the activity as Defer Maintenance Actual result : Error: \\"The system failed to carry out this function becaise of the environment of configuration problems\\" Expected Result : no error Upon inspection it is related to character count. If I reduce the character count the defer maintenance flag then works correctly. This must be driven by the fact R5ACTIVITIES.ACT_NOTE (256 characters) feeds R5DEFERREDACT.DFA_DESC (80 characters) |
