When trying to modify anything on a child asset which is In store and is dependent of an asset In store, the message 'Part field cannot be blank. Bin field cannot be blank.' This asset record does not have any part. The problem occurs only for dependent children that have no part. Steps to reproduce: 1 Parts - Create a part PARTA with Part by Asset checkbox checked. 2 Parts | Stores - add a store record for the part. 3. Assets - create two assets ASSETA with part PARTA added in Part field, and another ASSETB with no part. 4 Assets - Attach ASSETB as dependent child of ASSETA. 5. Issue / Return Parts - select a WO and return ASSETA to a store by selecting the part PARTA and asset ASSETA. After processing the return, ASSETA has status In-Store. 6 Update any field of ASSETB, for example description. The error message received "Part field cannot be blank. Bin field cannot be blank." Current behavior - error message received, unable to modify the record Expected behavior - able to modify the child asset |
