To use GIS with the HxGN EAM advanced module, you need both a web GIS portal and a desktop GIS client application. For the web GIS portal, you have two options: you can use ArcGIS Enterprise, which includes an ArcGIS Server federated with Portal for ArcGIS, or a standalone ArcGIS Server. Alternatively, you can use ArcGIS Online (SaaS) as the GIS web portal. Additionally, you must have at least one of the following desktop applications: ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) or ArcGIS Pro.
