In the system, a "control" is a field label or a field. Change the display properties for controls as necessary. To modify control properties:

Show the selected screen in designer mode.

Select the control to modify. The system highlights the selected control in blue.

Select Options > Properties.
Not all control properties are available for all fields.

Specify this information:
Column - Select the left position of the control.
Width - Select the width of the control. Select Screen for the control to occupy the remaining width of the screen.
Height - Specify the height for text box, list box, grid, or image fields. Select Screen for the control to occupy the remaining height of the screen.
Default - Specify the default value for the field.
Max Length - Specify the maximum length for text fields.
Max Value - Specify the maximum value for numeric fields.
Min Value - Specify the minimum value for numeric fields
Decimal Places - Specify the number of decimal places allowed for numeric fields.
Required - Select to indicate that the field is required.
Read-only - Select to indicate that the field is read-only.
Uppercase - Select to allow text in uppercase only.

Click Save.

Click Yes.

Continue modifying control properties as necessary, and then click Save.
